Wi-fi operator sees turnover rise by 18.5%

IRISH Wi-Fi (wireless broadband) network operator Bitbuzz saw an 18.54% year-on-year increase in turnover during the first half of this year.

The Dublin-headquartered company, which also has offices in Belfast and London, said the good financial showing has been reflected by a strong operational performance for the period.

The total number of Bitbuzz Wi-Fi ‘hotspots’ across Ireland as of the end of June amounted to 223, compared to 204 at the corresponding point last year.
