LM Ericsson appointments

Dublin: John Hennessy is retiring as MD of telecom service provider LM Ericsson, effective from November 30. In the role since 2003, he is bringing to an end a 37-year career with Ericsson.

From January 1 next, he will take up the role of chairman, LM Ericsson Holdings Ltd, and will also be a director on the LM Ericsson board. He will also take an advisory role in the firm’s relations with the Irish Government and government agencies, relevant industry bodies and the Telecomms Regulator.

Michael Gallagher is appointed Head of LM Ericsson Ltd, Ireland.
