K Club wins hotel of the year accolade

THE K Club was last night named as AA Ireland’s Hotel of the Year at the association’s hospitality awards. The judges of the competition said the hotel had been at the forefront in setting standards in the hospitality industry in Ireland for almost 20 years.

Also rewarded at the ceremony was the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare, Co Limerick. It was presented with the AA’s Courtesy Care Award for 2010/2011.

“The family business boasts a tremendously loyal workforce,” the judges said. “One of the key criteria of this award is that staff are true, genuine ambassadors for the hotel.”
