Ardagh deal to refinance debt

Dublin: Ardagh Glass Group said yesterday it successfully placed €1.1bn and $800m of senior secured and senior notes.

The proceeds will be used to finance the acquisition of Impress Co-operative and to refinance some debt.

Both the euro and dollar offerings encountered strong demand and were heavily oversubscribed, it said.
