Campbell Soup profits up 64%

New York: Campbell Soup, the world’s largest soup maker, said fourth-quarter profit advanced 64%, helped by sales of beverages such as V8 juices.

Net income rose to $113 million (€88m), or 33 cents a share, in the period ended August 1, the Camden, New Jersey-based company said.
