UCC agreement with Nigeria

Cork: A formal agreement signed between UCC and Nigeria is expected to lead to joint collaboration in research and the delivery of education programmes.

It will also present opportunities for student and staff exchanges and the establishment of world-class teaching and research, they said.

The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed by the Nigerian ambassador to Ireland, Her Excellency Dr Kemafo Chikwe; Professor Okojie, Executive Secretary of Nigerian Universities Commission; and Prof Paul Giller, Registrar and Senior Vice-President, Academic at UCC yesterday.
