Google operations centre to provide 200 jobs

INTERNET giant Google is to create 200 jobs in Dublin with a new operations centre.

The offices, at Eastpoint Business Park in the city’s Docklands, are set to be fully up and running by the end of the year

Google said the centre will focus mainly on its geographic-based products such as Google Maps and Google Local. And the company, which currently employs 1,500 people in the capital, has already started recruiting for graduates with strong IT skills.
