Ads aim to attract German tourists

A competition on local station Radio Duisburg is offering two listeners the chance to win a holiday in the Kingdom.

Tourism Ireland adverts are highlighting ease of access to Kerry with the Ryanair service from Düsseldorf Weeze Airport.

Tourism Ireland manager for central Europe Barbara Wood said: “We have an extensive promotional programme in place for 2010 in Germany, to showcase the uniqueness of a holiday in the south west and around the island of Ireland. The message here in Germany is that there has never been a better time to visit the island of Ireland.”
