Ryanair links up with Edelman

RYANAIR has announced that it has taken on Edelman as its external public relations/media communications adviser, after what it called “a very competitive tender process”.

It is understood that more than 30 PR companies — based in Ireland and Britain — bid for the account.

Earlier this month, Ryanair parted company with Murray Consultants, which has worked closely with the airline for the past 15 years — basically covering the carrier’s lifespan as a publicly quoted company.
