A lot more left to do on economy, warns IMF

THE International Monetary Fund’s take on the economy makes it clear that the corner is far from turned as far as getting the country back on its feet is concerned.

Some of its observations are very positive and Finance Minister Brian Lenihan was quick to acknowledge the plaudits contained in its report.

It agreed much has been done to restore international confidence in the economy due to the measures taken in recent budgets.
