Teagasc tillage farm open days to help improve performances

TEAGASC open days on profitable commercial tillage farms could give attendees ideas on how to improve performance and negotiate their way through their current economic challenges.

The first of three Teagasc Better Farm Crops open days took place yesterday on the farm of John Crowley, Renny, Ballyhooley, Co Cork.

Further open days will take place on the farm of George and Ken Willliamson, Ambrosetown, Duncormick, Co Wexford, on Tuesday, July 6; followed by a visit to the farm of Joe O’Donoghue, Glassmerry House, Herbertstown, Stamullen, Co Meath, on Thursday, July 8.
