CORK hurling goalkeeper Donal Óg Cusack is among the names on the latest list of those forced to pay a penalty to Revenue.

The high-profile sportsman had to pay Revenue €1,250 for failure to lodge VAT returns. Mr Cusack is listed on the list as a publican and an off-licence operator.

Donegal County Council appeared on the tax defaulters list after it came to a total settlement of almost €800,000. An audit uncovered an under-declared €547,775 in PAYE and PRSI. Interest and penalties were €252,133.
