Awards given for net visionaries

Dublin: DemonWare and Jolt Games founder Dylan Collins was named the Irish Internet Association and Enterprise Ireland Net Visionary 2010 last night.

The 15 category winners were: Amy Dillon, MakeUpAndBeauty.ie, Best Business Blogger; Mark Little, Journalist Award; Dr Des O’Mahony, Bookassist, Best Internet Entrepreneur; Elaine Murphy, insure.ie, Best Online Financial Service; Daragh Murphy, Hairybaby Clothing Company, Best Online Trader; Michele Neylon, Blacknight Solutions, Best Use of Social Media; Joanne Grehan, Western Development Commission, e-Government Award; Ed Hendrick, Sonru, Innovation Award; Vanessa Johnston, Pigsback.com, Internet Marketer; Bob Nixon (2), Georgina Campbell’s Ireland-guide.com, Mobile Internet Innovation and Online Tourism Awards; Ruth Kearney, DIT Hothouse, Social Contribution; Lisa Westermann, Fusio, Web Designer Excellence; and David Henry, Modus, Web Developer Excellence.
