FINANCIAL services group IFG said it is in line to meet expectations this year but the property related business in Ireland remains challenging.

A lack of capital and transactions in the Irish property sector means the business is continuing to operate in a difficult environment, according to IFG. It said its focus in this business remains on achieving “neutral contribution”.

Its pension and advisory business in Ireland has performed well through April in terms of client wins and profitability, it said.
