Sod turned on enterprise centre

Limerick: The sod was turned on a new €800,000 Community Enterprise Centre at the Kilmallock Business Park yesterday.

Owned by Shannon Development, the park has now doubled in size, said Minister for Trade and Commerce Billy Kelleher.

“This development shows what can be achieved when public and private bodies work together, and shows Government commitment to finding development solutions in smaller communities,” said the minister.

It is proposed that the centre will have a link to third-level institutions to enable budding entrepreneurs develop their ideas supported by mentors.
