NTMA plans bond auction next week

HAVING hinted that it might postpone raising funds on international money markets this month, the National Treasury Management Agency intends to issue bonds next Tuesday.

Ireland will now proceed with plans to hold bond auctions next week, the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) said.

It will auction a 4% bond maturing in 2014 and a 4.5% bond maturing in 2020, it said yesterday.
