Scheme to aid firms in recovery of unpaid bills

HARD-PRESSED building companies expect to benefit from a new system put in place to help them recover unpaid bills from third parties.

The Payments Recovery Assistance Programme has been launched by the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) for its member companies.

Since the collapse of the building sector, many firms have struggled to get paid, due to the difficulties facing most companies in today’s depressed market.
