Pfizer in possible Europe hub move

Brussels: Pfizer Inc may move Wyeth’s eastern Europe headquarters from Vienna to Brussels, where it would be integrated with Pfizer’s emerging markets unit, Wirtschaftsblatt reported, citing Robin Rumler, who heads Pfizer’s Austrian unit.

“We are currently evaluating whether the east Europe hub in Vienna makes sense for Pfizer,” Rumler told Wirtschaftsblatt, citing financial considerations and the proximity to European Union policy as possible reasons for the potential move.
