2.2m ICG shares moved by Rothwell

Dublin: Irish Continental Group chief executive, Eamonn Rothwell, has lowered his personal shareholding in the business to 5%, by transferring just under 2.2 million shares into Rokeby Investments, an investment firm which he owns independently.

2.2m ICG shares moved by Rothwell

Shares in ICG, which owns Irish Ferries, jumped by 3% on Tuesday, more on the back of news that it would distribute dividend payments, to shareholders, worth a combined €24.6m later this year, than the announcement of group earnings falling by €16m last year.

Yesterday’s transaction, boosts Rokeby’s holding in ICG to over 11%.
