Shiel leaves post at Clarion Hotel

Cork: The general manager of Cork’s Clarion Hotel, Charlie Shiel, is leaving the hotel after five years at the helm.

Mr Sheil will take up the post of general manager of the new Gibson Hotel at the Point Village in Dublin on March 10, ahead of its scheduled June opening.

During his tenure at the Clarion Hotel in Cork, Mr Sheil and his team won several awards including the International Clarion Hotel of The Year 2008, Cork Business of the Year 2009, and Hotel Manager of the Year 2009.
