Wolseley sells supply companies

Dublin: Heating and plumbing distributor Wolseley is selling its businesses in Ireland and the North.

It has sold them to a group of private investors for €26.5 million.

The sale is effective from today and comes under a share purchase agreement that includes the trading businesses Brooks, Heat Merchants, Tubs and Tiles and Encon in Ireland and the Brooks business in the North.
