Under-funding of pension schemes

Cork: Worries over under- funding of defined benefit pension schemes has led 70% of scheme members to consider moving to alternative investments.

Financial and HR directors, responding to a survey at a recent IFG corporate pensions seminar, said staff members are becoming increasingly concerned that their company-run DB pension funds are under-funded.
