Marsh acquires HSBC subsidiary

Dublin: Insurance broker Marsh has acquired HSBC Insurance Brokers Ltd (HIBL), a subsidiary of HSBC Bank.

Marsh Ireland’s main Irish office is in Dublin, with five other offices on the island.Marsh’s international holding company acquired HIBL for €152m, comprising a mixture of cash and stock in Marsh & McLennan companies.
