€1.43m pre-tax loss for hotel

THE Killarney Towers Hotel has posted a €1.43 million pre-tax loss for the year to the end of last January.

According to the latest set of accounts lodged with the Companies Office by Emardress Ltd – the hotel’s holding company – the four-star property also made an operating loss of €1.39m for the year.

The pre-tax loss was a slight improvement on the previous year’s loss of €1.54m. The Towers has been closed for refurbishment of late and is due to reopen in February.
