DUBLIN Airport has been hit more than any other airport in Europe over the last year as 19 routes were cut.

Figures from airline analysts, anna.aero show that in the past 12 months Dublin airport has added just five routes resulting in a net loss of 14 routes or about 9% of its total non-stop destinations. No other European city has endured a larger percentage loss of service, according to the figures.

Bloxham analyst Joe Gill said it is likely conditions will get even worse for Ireland’s largest airport.
