RYANAIR will pull more aircraft from Shannon Airport unless it gets a 50% cut in operating costs and the Government scraps the €10 travel tax.

However Shannon Airport said it already has a legally binding agreement with Ryanair, under which the airline receives “the most competitive price that Shannon can offer”.

Ryanair said yesterday it has lost money in each of its five years at Shannon Airport. It is now in discussions with the airport about extensions to its five-year base agreement which runs out in April next year.
