Families ‘can save €1,000’ on annual insurance

HOUSEHOLDS can slash €1,000 a year off their insurance costs by shopping around.

Motor, home, life and health insurance costs can add up to €5,750 a year for a family of four, according to the Irish Brokers Association.

It said, however, that there are plenty of savings to be had especially in motor and health insurance costs.
