Entrepreneurs gear up for deadline

IRELAND’S next generation of entrepreneurs have just until close of business tomorrow to submit their winning business plans for the chance of a lifetime to work with some of the country’s biggest business names in a world class environment as part of the pioneering Endeavour programme.

Entrepreneurs gear up for deadline

Endeavour, the brainchild of the Institute of Technology, Tralee (ITT) and Shannon Development’s Kerry Technology Park, is offering 10 budding entrepreneurs the dream launch pad to bring their business concept to life as part of an intensive seven-month fast-track programme, culminating in an International Funding Showcase next April.

“Despite a backdrop of economic turbulence, we have had a phenomenal level of interest to date across a range of business sectors,” says Endeavour Programme Manager Breda O’Dwyer.

“Proving that entrepreneurship in Ireland is alive and well, we are seeing a high response rate from the telecoms and software industries in particular. However, the application deadline is fast approaching and we want to hear from anyone with a great business concept that is globally scaleable.”
