Public trust in credit unions hardly surprising

THE level of trust Irish investors have in the credit unions is at a level Irish banks can only dream about at this stage.

New research by Amarach on behalf of the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) shows that its loyal 2.3 million members are crying out for new services.

This massive endorsement of the movement by members and non-members is hardly surprising given the banks’ role in helping to bankrupt the country.
