Rushed C&C data cause of error

C&C Group’s publication of incorrect revenue data this month was largely due to a desire by management to put out information “as soon as possible”, the Sunday Tribune reported yesterday, citing an unidentified company spokesman.

Dublin-based C&C on July 13 said revenue declined 5% in the four months through June, correcting a July 8 statement that revenue had risen 3%.
