Sales of Magners in Britain up 6.9%

C&C Group Plc’s British sales of Magners cider at bars and restaurants rose 6.9% by volume in May compared with the previous month, stockbroker Davy said yesterday in a statement, citing researcher Nielsen.

“While it may be too early to say that C&C has turned the corner in Britain, recent data, company comments and our own enquiries suggest Magners has stabilised,” Davy said.
