Miami-inspired nightclub to help employ 300 people
The new classy quarter will host restaurants, shops, wine bars and entertainment venues including a new club which will fit up to 2,000 partygoers over a number of floors. The glitzy development, the brainchild of the developer’s managing director Michael Wright, is set to open its doors on July 10.
Promoters say the north Dublin club will include “a splash of Miami, a twist of LA with a little bit of Las Vegas” all mixed in.
Having visited the world’s top nightclubs in LA, Miami, Ibiza, Milan, Paris and London, its owners wanted to create an Irish venue to rival stylish, innovative international clubs.
The 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft) venue will have three floors, a live music area and rooftop terrace complete with trees and grass. The outside rooftop area will host 600 people.
The Wright Venue, or WV, says it will recruit approximately 100 full-time and 200 part-time staff for its new South Quarter complex, adjacent to Airside Retail Park Swords, Co Dublin, almost half of whom will work in the nightclub. The other parts of the complex include offices, a gym, TGI Friday’s and a number of shops and restaurants.
