70 jobs axed at Kerry foods plant

KERRY Foods has announced it is to close a production facility at Glenealy in Co Wicklow with the loss of up to 70 jobs.

The company is to consolidate the work at the site to three other facilities in Shillelagh, Co Wicklow, Finglas and Durham in England.

The Glenealy site had been a feeder location for operations in Finglas.
