BANK of Ireland’s new chairman Pat Molloy said he is determined to do everything he can to guide the bank through difficult times.

The 71-year-old, who previously served as chief executive at the bank, said he has every confidence in the underlying strengths of Bank of Ireland.

He said it will play its part in meeting the requirements of its customers and supporting economic recovery generally.
