Half our economic problems are ‘our own making’, bank economist claims
This is according to Ulster Bank chief economist, Pat McArdle, who said that the Irish economy is like a diver who has reached the bottom of the swimming pool.
“We are down amongst the bubbles but at least we are no longer plunging.”
