A PETITION to wind-up the company which operates some of Cork’s best-known pubs was lodged yesterday.

The petition to wind-up the Cork-based Rebel Bar Company Ltd, and which was lodged by entrepreneurial pub owners Tom Scriven, Sam Scriven and James O’Leary, will be heard on April 27 next.

The move is the second and final part of a process which began on April 3 when Kieran Wallace of KPMG was appointed provisional liquidator of the company.
