THE ISEQ index finished down 15.55 points at 2,166.81 yesterday on a quiet day as a lack of interest in trading was the main feature of the market.

In the financial sector, AIB was unchanged at 64c, Bank of Ireland slid 2c to 50c, Irish Life and Permanent declined 2c to €1.12, while insurance group FBD added 7c to €6.07.
