League of Credit Unions to meet

THE trustees of the Irish League of Credit Unions has decided to request an increase of 3.8% in contribution rate from March 1.

This brings the contribution rate from 26.2% (March 2008) to 30% of pensionable salary.

The league board has considered the request from the trustees and has decided to organise a meeting of all participating credit unions to discuss the matter. The league will meet at the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, Co Offaly on March 11.
