Heraty steps down from ISE board

THE chief executive and founder of the recruitment company CPL Resources, Anne Heraty, last night stepped down as a member of the board of the Irish Stock Exchange.

Last month she resigned as a member of the board of Anglo Irish Bank just before the troubled bank was nationalised by the Government.

Ms Heraty set up CPL in 1989 and played a key role in developing it to become a leading employment services company.

It now has about 5,000 temporary staff and 500 contractors working on sites in Dublin, Limerick, Galway, Westmeath, Cork and Kildare.
