IN a rare bit of positive employment news, leading pizza delivery chain Domino’s is looking to create up to 300 jobs this year as it hopes to open a further six to 10 outlets around the country.

At the very least, the company should create 185 jobs across its Irish operations this year.

The combined British and Irish division of the US-owned pizza delivery franchise yesterday reported a 24.7% increase in pre-tax profits for the 12 months to the end of December to £23.4 million (€26.4m).
