The move has been undertaken by members of Veterinary Ireland, the national organisation for veterinary surgeons.

Michael Sexton, president, has written to all members about the risks associated with imported susceptible animals (cattle, sheep, goats) and has called on them to bring this matter to the attention of their farmer clients.
