Extra time at work recommended

THE Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has asked employers and employees to consider working extra time at no pay before applying pay cuts or lay-offs.

The ACCA is encouraging organisations to consider the option of extra time because for many people working 30 minutes more a day may be more acceptable than a 6% pay cut.
