AFTER two days of gains the Irish market reverted to type yesterday, recording a slight loss as investors took profits and the banks weakened. The ISEQ index fell 13.47 points to 2,661.76.

AFTER two days of gains the Irish market reverted to type yesterday, recording a slight loss as investors took profits and the banks weakened. The ISEQ index fell 13.47 points to 2,661.76.

Another turbulent day played out for Anglo-Irish Bank as the share lost over 20% of its value or 10c to close at 33c, with almost 10 million shares traded on the Irish market.
