Elan fills senior vice-president post

MARY STUTTS has been appointed by Elan as senior vice-president and head of corporate relations — a newly created post at the Irish-American drug-making company.

Ms Stutts, who has been in the healthcare industry for the past 20 years, will be based at Elan’s San Francisco operation. Her appointment follows that of Carlos V Paya as the company’s new president.
