Conroy up 27% after striking gold

CONROY DIAMONDS & GOLD PLC, a mining company exploring for gold in Ireland, gained the most in six months London trading after saying it had identified four more gold lode zone’s at its Clontibret site

Conroy increased 0.5 pence, or 27%, to 2.38 pence, the biggest gain since July 1. The stock has fallen 32% this year, giving the Dublin-based company a market value of €2.94m.

“This is a further indication that the one million ounce resource may grow as we advance our exploration program,” said chairman Richard Conroy.
