Kentzcash position ‘strong’

IRISH engineering firm Kentz says its cash position is strong and it is confident its full-year results will be in line with analysts’ expectations.

In an operational update, Clonmel-based Kentz said new orders and letters of intent had increased by $224 million (€174.5m) since the end of September.

“Our backlog continues to be strong, increasing from $894.5m (€696.7m) in July 2008 to $935m (€728.3m) at the end of September 2008,” the company said.
