UPC reports 20% revenue growth

UPC Ireland — which operates the NTL and Chorus cable/digital television platforms here — recorded a 20% year-on-year increase in third-quarter revenues this year to €91.1 million.

The company, which has 664,300 customers, saw a year-on-year increase of 28% in its broadband base.

UPC Ireland chief executive, Robert Dunn, said: “Improving our overall customer experience has been our primary focus during 2008 and we will continue to place this as our number one priority for the rest of 2008 and beyond.”
