Greenstar expands customer base

THE NTR Group-owned waste management company, Greenstar, has acquired the household and commercial bin collection division of Donegal-based company Laghey Waste, as part of its expansion into the north-west of the country.

The division which Greenstar has bought covers south Donegal and Donegal town itself. The purchase will add 1,200 customers to Greenstar’s existing customer base in the area and will extend the company’s presence from Sligo to Donegal town in the region.

“Greenstar’s ambitious growth trajectory gives us a plan to double in size over the next four years,” said director Jerry Dempsey.
