Firms urged to be vigilant on Hallowe’en

BUSINESSES have been urged to be extra vigilant on Hallowe’en as it is one of the top nights for vandalism.

The Irish Brokers Association (IBA) said incidents on the night can threaten the livelihoods of business owners whose property has been damaged.

IBA director of financial service Ciaran Phelan said past experience has indicated that more property damage is caused on this night than almost any other night of the year.
