Sisk and Hibernian scoop awards

HIBERNIAN and John Sisk and Son have won the Irish leg of the national Good Practice Awards held in association with the Health and Safety Authority yesterday.

These firms will now go forward to the European finals and compete with a range of organisations from across Europe.

Martin O’Halloran, chief executive of the Health and Safety Authority, said both organisations displayed a proactive and innovative approach to reducing workplace accidents and demonstrated that employee safety, health and welfare is an integral part of their operations.
